Exploring ways to make our homes healthier through healthy home tips and sustainable real estate concepts

As a healthy home expert and advocate, I continue to educate myself through avenues like the National Association of Realtors Green Designation, books, volunteering, and networking. I've been passionate about health since I can remember. My parents allowed me to pick out a monthly magazine subscription when I was in middle school and my choice was Women's Health. We spend so much time inside our homes so it's worthwhile to make sure that our home environment is healthy.

Did you know that indoor air quality is often worse than the air quality outside? I've learned little tidbits like this and simple tips to address health at home. Here, as well as on my Instagram, I'll share about implementing healthy home and sustainable real estate concepts into my own home one project at a time.

Another bonus to making your home healthier is the impact it can have on you home's value. More and more buyers are asking for green features in homes.

Follow along here and on Instagram at @healthyhomesnw and together, we can all make our homes healthier for ourselves and our housemates both of the human and pet varieties. Let me know what topics you'd like me to explore and share about.
